Could life get any better with these two hot boys fighting over you?
Eclipse is the third energetic, chapter in the Twilight Saga. Set in the dreary town of Forks the love triangle between Bella, Edward and Jacob take prominence. The plot is a lot faster paced compared to the previous instalments and with better action scenes.
New director David Slade who has previously directed darker movies including Hard Candy and vampire movie, 30 days of Night the influence is evident from the opening scene of Eclipse where Seattle, is over run with new born vampires. Eclipse unites the Wolf's and Vampires as they have to work together to ensure the safety of Bella and her father as Jacob becomes closer to Bella.
This movie combines all the right ingredients the result is spectacular, successfully capturing the essence of the novel without much deviation. We get to see Taylor Lautner again without his shirt on, which I'm sure many of the female fans will be more than happy to observe plus we get to see Jasper in a new light, think Health Leger esque.
Rumers have surfaced that the next instalment Breaking dawn will be release in November 2011 and will be split in to two films with a new director. I was lucky enough to see the pre-screening last weekend, however you can catch Eclipse from Tommorow at Cinema's nation wide.
